Class 2 - WC 12/06/2017

Class 2 had a fantastic week and we were very creative!

In Maths we continued to improve our knowledge of adding and subtracting both whole numbers and also decimals. They found this a little tricky to start with and there were concerns about working with decimals but soon got the hang of it.

In English we worked on our interview techniques and the different ways we can answer questions. The class interviewed Mrs Clifford and wrote some really great reports based on their interview questions ans answers.

We enjoyed French this week as we began to talk properly to each other using our knowledge.

In Science we started to make our volcanoes which we can't wait to paint next week and then create our own erupting volcanoes. We used cardboard as our base and then taped an empty water bottle to the base. We then used paper mache to create a volcano shape.

Please check out our gallery below to see how our volcanoes are shaping up!
