Class 3 - WC 08/01/18

Class 3 have been working really hard this week.

In Maths we have been looking at range and mean and ensuring we understand the definition of each. Those studying for GCSE Maths have been working hard on the area and perimeter of shapes, including rectangles and triangles and getting to grips with the formulas used in both.

In English we have being looking at finding information in texts and answer questions based on specific texts. We have been reading about Antarctica and the Arctic and comparing the two and also looking at why people have taken so long to make these places more habitable.

We have really enjoyed our science lessons this week and we have been investigating 1800's hospital and comparing the differences. We will then try and answer questions next week based on the evidence we have. We are looking at how diseases are transmitted.

The gallery below contains photos from our recent trip to the Skeletons exhibit at Leeds City Museum. Check out last weeks blog to see what we were doing there!

Have a great weekend from all in Class 3.
