Class 7 - WC 19/09/16

Class 7 have worked really hard in Science this week and managed to produce a wonderful diagram of a tooth and gum which are now proudly on display in the classroom.
The class also researched a different animal's teeth to look at the similarities and differences between theirs and humans. The class chose to look at wolves and chimpanzees and we found some fantastic and interesting facts about both. We imagined what it would be like if we had a different animals teeth, and whether these would pose any problems.
In Maths we have been adding and subtracting decimals and with some extra hard work the class have managed to complete their tasks and have learned a new skill.
In English we have continued with our skills work and this week we have worked hard to make sure we ask good questions and better understand how a sentence is structured.
We have been learning about the Battle of Hastings in Humanities, and we know that we can look to the Bayeux Tapestry to learn more about this period in time. We looked at the winners and losers of the battle, and it's importance for England.
We are looking forward to more learning next week.
